MRI Repairs Consultancy Package – Data Health Check

Are you capturing and utilising data in MRI Repairs to the best of its ability?   MRI Repairs is built on a hierarchal data structure of clients, contracts and job types. A client has a set of properties and assets attached to it. Jobs are logged against properties for the different types of workflows (i.e. Repairs, Voids, Planned, Servicing and Compliance). Each workflow is usually setup as a separate contract in MRI Repairs. Therefore, each job that is recorded in the MRI Repairs has a job type, a contract, a property and a client all attached to the job. Jobs in MRI Repairs can have multiple events/tasks attached to them. Each event on an MRI Repairs job is individually costed and has the chargeable items/SOR codes used to complete that event. When an operative completes an individual visit/event on a job the travel time, onsite labour time, materials used, and any SOR codes used are all captured for each visit/event. The materials used are added from the operative’s van stock and represent those items utilised by the operative on that visit.  The costs from all events (labour, travel, materials) are automatically ‘summed’ up to create that job’s overall cost. Thus, MRI Repairs provides a margin overview of sales versus costs for each job that is normally checked before the job is cleared to invoice (CTI). Contractors will typically run margin reporting on all jobs prior to invoicing within the job in MRI Repairs.  MRI Repairs is a full multi-depot stock solution with its own full product catalogues. It uses a transactional based stock solution that includes Purchase Ordering, Goods In, RTMs, Stores Stock Management and Van Stock Control. MRI Repairs uses a double entry transactional accounting batches to track material costs moving in and out of the solution.

Stock Management & Purchasing:
When configured and used correctly, the data in MRI Repairs will allow you report on all transactions and movements of stock and purchasing since the module was introduced. This includes:
•    Fast and Slow moving stock
•    Stock Holding and valuations
•    Operative van vs over the counter purchases
•    Van Stock efficiency
•    Commitments 
•    Supplier response and accuracy (with EDI integration)
Allowing you to ensure you are only holding the stock you need and giving you the ability make informed decisions about your procurement.

Pre-Requisites

The consultant and client will, prior to the consultancy, agree details of the session, confirm start and finish times and any prerequisites.

  • Attendees familiar with MRI Repairs
    •  Person(s) who are responsible for: Day to day operation of any active module within MRI Repairs.
    •  Person(s) who have sufficient understanding of the current and future business needs of the organisation to enable decisions relating to parameters.
    •  Client to provide access to relevant systems.
