Revenue & Benefits: Bespoke SQL Service - Consultancy
Service Outline
This Whilst each application incorporates a suite of batch programs designed to report on or manage caseload and circumstances, it is anticipated that our customers may require bespoke reports to meet a need. Such bespoke developments may be necessitated to report on or minimize user error, following a Freedom of Information request or to tidy up data.
Additionally, as our customers may require bespoke reports to be run on an entirely ad-hoc basis, on a regularly scheduled basis or a mixture of both, all bespoke developments are designed wherever possible to incorporate automatically adjusted dates and require minimal user intervention. Bespoke developments may be delivered as Insight Reports, an SQL invoked from the SY6040 program or a DLL, as required.
The duration and cost of bespoke developments are entirely dependent upon your requirements and may be informed by the prerequisites (below). Normally, any bespoke work will require testing beforehand hence your TEST database should be a recent copy of LIVE. You should ensure that any results are thoroughly checked for the Consultant to undertake refinements before rerunning.
Where a development is designed to update data, on-site consultancy will normally be required and will again necessitate testing. Finally, highly complex developments will generally require development day(s) beforehand.
Caveats
Future and unanticipated product changes may require amendments to any bespoke development. Such developments may over time become redundant due to product/ legislative changes.
